Safara is a team of travelers, hotel obsessives, and former hospitality operators who got tired of how travel booking worked. We're based in New York and backed by Sequoia Capital and Defy Partners.

We built Safara to be the single best place to find, book, and manage your hotel stays, with a rewards program that actually works for you and curation you can trust.

Why We're Building This

Travel booking has always been more fragmented than it needs to be. We wanted one place where you could book any hotel in the world, earn cashback on every stay, save where you want to go, and get curated recommendations you can actually rely on. No juggling loyalty programs, no sifting through thousands of reviews to find something worth staying at.

We also built Safara to work better for independent hotels. The industry has long been stacked in favor of big chains, and the hotels with the most character have paid the price. Our business model is designed so that independent hotels benefit from every booking made on the platform.
